Launch is a Mac application that runs built-in and custom JavaScript files. Your scripts live in ~/Launch (or another folder if you prefer) and you can connect to any Git backend to sync them. You can `cd` to change the active directory and some scripts will run in that directory (e.g. to copy or delete certain files) while others run anywhere (e.g. to open an app). You can think of it as a launcher with some shell functionality, or an extensible command line with quick launch and autocomplete.
