About
Chrome extensions ask for one line of permissions in a file you never open, and the store answers with a star rating. is-extension-safe downloads the actual package, strips the obfuscation, reads the source and shows you exactly what data each extension can reach, with the file and line behind every claim. No verdicts, no scare labels. We describe capabilities, print what the analysis couldn't check, and publish corrections. Paste any store link to request an audit.
