Every app now needs a sign-in, collects your data, and ignores your privacy. When I set out to build Ownmind as a solo indie developer, privacy was my first thought: how do I deliver a feature-rich app that uses the minimum permissions and gives you full access to your own data? No cloud, no accounts, private by design. Powered by Gemma 4, Google's open-weight AI model, running entirely offline on your device. Ownmind is built around a simple idea: externalize your thoughts and write it down.
