inlaut is a menu bar dictation app for the Mac. Hold a shortcut or the 🌐 key, speak, let go, and the text is pasted into whatever app you are in. Recognition runs entirely on your Mac, on the Neural Engine (NVIDIA Parakeet as Core ML), so it works offline and nothing is recorded or sent anywhere. It handles English, German and sentences that mix both. No account, no subscription. Free and open source (GPL-3.0). Needs Apple silicon and macOS 26.
