At a dinner party with other parents recently, the conversation turned to the challenges we all have with communication coming from our children's schools. Emails and Texts and App notifications, coming from Teachers, Admins, PTA, After-Care programs. Overlapping information, buried key details, verbose fluff. An avalanche of text every day that must be carefully parsed to find important info. This seems to be a universal problem and certainly one I experience every day. So literally before dinner was over I built the first version of this site on my phone with Claude. I think the main problem is that the folks who are responsible for communication just don't have the tools and experience to know what good communication really looks like, or the parents perspective hasn't been demonstrated to them to give them more empathy. So I am hoping this can help. Feel free to share if you have the same problem with your school.
