Canvas Downloader is a free, open-source app that downloads all Canvas course files to your PC, kept organized and ready to study. Download everything: slides, assignments, and linked files. Sync mode fetches only new files without overwriting or deleting your work, while Auto-Sync does so daily, automatically. It features AI optimization to convert formats for tools like NotebookLM, Panopto lecture downloads, and offline transcription. Built for students, entirely private with zero tracking.
