I’m building LongLink, an open-source platform for building and running business apps in Python. While studying, I worked part-time at a bank building an internal tool. The team loved being able to request features and have them implemented exactly as they needed. I wanted to make it easier to build these kinds of applications without losing flexibility. The idea behind LongLink is simple: keep the code and abstract the infrastructure. Each application is built with standard Python and FastAPI. The code lives in a normal repository, so it can be developed, tested, versioned, reviewed, and changed using normal engineering tools. LongLink provides the common services needed to build and operate those solutions. Any feedback is welcome. Roast me well!
